The following is a guide as to which Perokim of Tehillim are said on relevant occasions. It is not meant to be a categorical, final or fully comprehensive guide – the purpose is to highlight and pinpoint where to find various Tefillos and Bakashos (requests) – Topics and issues which are raised in the relevant Perokim. The Sepher יוסף תהלות mentions that each Perek of Tehillim carries a treasure of support and merit in Shomayim. However, it has become the custom in Klal Israel that specific perokim do have more relevance and application at certain times.
